Cookies & browser storage

Updated October 13, 2026

Here is what Donnie’s Karaoke remembers on your device and which outside services it uses.

Keeping your night connected

Sign-in services use browser storage to keep you signed in. The app remembers your show, display preferences and notification choices. Optional turn alerts use a browser push subscription. Retired text alerts do not collect phone numbers.

Your music stays with you

Your songs stay on your laptop or connected drive. The app can remember permission to use a folder. Custom soundboard clips and background music you add may be saved in this browser’s local database. These are not uploaded to our music storage.

Outside services

Firebase provides accounts and show data. Where configured, Google App Check uses reCAPTCHA Enterprise to help identify genuine requests. Google-hosted fonts and these services receive connection information when loaded and may use their own storage. Playing a YouTube track loads YouTube’s player and its privacy and cookie practices apply. Tip buttons open the payment service you choose.

Advertising and tracking

This version has no advertising pixels or visitor analytics tags. If we add optional tracking, we will update this page and provide consent controls required for the places we serve before enabling that tracking.

Your choices

You can sign out, turn off turn alerts, decline microphone or location permission, and use your own music instead of YouTube. Browser settings let you clear cookies and site data. Clearing site data can remove remembered folders, favorites, local clips and sign-in preferences. Download any backups you want first.

Clearing your browser does not delete show records already saved online. See our Privacy Policy for information about records and requests.
