We want Donnie’s Karaoke to be usable by singers, hosts and visitors with different access needs.

What we are working toward

Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We have not completed a full accessibility assessment and do not claim full conformance yet.

Useful controls

Public pages include a Skip to content link and a keyboard-operated menu. Forms use labels, and browser zoom can enlarge the page. The homepage background video has a pause control and respects reduced-motion preferences. Crowd reactions use a gentler fade when reduced motion is requested. Turn alerts have an on-screen message as well as optional sound and vibration.

Checks still in progress

We are continuing keyboard, screen-reader, contrast, zoom and phone testing across the dashboard and show controls. Live queue and countdown announcements need further assistive-technology testing. Demo captions will be checked when the final video is published. Third-party video players and payment pages may work differently.
